PoCo's X8 Pro Max pushes the X-series from budget to flagship-class by pairing a top-tier chipset with a 6.83" OLED panel that hits 120Hz, 12-bit color, HDR10+ and up to 3,500 nits brightness, plus a "huge" battery and 3,840Hz PWM dimming. It astonished me that there exist no 32 or 32 inch curved OLED 2560x1440 ("2.5K") displays being manufactured -- at all.

All of that size and curvature are 4K in resolution.

I don't want to use 4K (or pay for such a display); it's 2.25x as many pixels and it's not nearly worth the huge extra load on the GPU, in my opinion -- and I have an RTX 5080.

Hopefully one will eventually emerge, but we will probably be seeing 8K versions of the aforementioned first. 🙄
