#MyDeepGuide with some #privacy network tests on #epaper devices. He developed a test method and an interesting Python analysis/report workflow that is supposed to be published. 👍

First run:
#iFlyTek #AINote vs #BooxGo 10.3. How Private are These Devices?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srFT5OkJPmU

Seems like the #Boox platform offers better privacy compared to the iFlyTek product.

Looking forward to more tests like that. I assume that #reMarkable will be considerable worse. #Supernote is scheduled as well.

For #DIday, I’m wondering which #SmartWatch fits my needs.

Anyone here have experience? The #Pebble Time 2 sounds promising: #ePaper, #OpenSource, long battery life. Could be the perfect sports and sleep tracker - without constantly feeding data to Silicon Valley.

How reliable are the tracking and battery life in real use? Or any other suggestions?

I’ve been looking into #obsidian and #epaper notebooks again. I feel like the hardware I want just doesn’t exist.

- Physical Buttons: Page turning buttons for ebooks
- Android/or native Libby/Overdrive Support
- Sufficently open sync so that my handwritten notes can be imported into Obsidian + browse my obsidian vault (might require Android/side loading)

Supernote’s ethos is nice but I haven’t seen hardware updates in years. Remarkable seems limited, Boox might be a contender.
