I’m a #productivity enthusiast. I’m interested in #tech

I started this #GoToSocial instance as a mini-project; especially as my coding skills are very, very, limited, so a little bit of education for me. So far, so good.

In my spare time (not that there is much of it) I’m a #CubScout Leader #ScoutingUk

I have an amazing wife and between us we have 5 children - well, I say 'children' but they're all grown up now!

I follow #Formula1 My favourite team is #McLarenF1
I also support #AFCBournemouth 🍒

I find #lego to be extremely cathartic and enjoy building when I can.
I #read a lot; usually crime, mystery, thriller and I enjoy watching #movies.
I have also started listening to #audiobooks

#Nextcloud is where I now store my documents etc - again self-hosted.

Spent an hour at the hut this morning, getting all the mini kitchens ready for the week of cooking.
- Brownies on Monday
- Guides on Wednesday
- Cubs on Thursday

I now need to prepare the recipes so the Cubs know what to do!

It's a fun meeting; although quite stressful.

Was in New Orleans all week for work. Had 6 am flight back to Atlanta. Then picked up kid from school and drove 3 hours to join his #CubScout pack for their spring trip. It’s cold and raining and I’m tired. Can’t wait to be home on Sunday.

I attended the #Canberra Museum and Games tonight and had a look at a ton of local, indie games - both video, board and card.

I managed to play Get Down II, Salvage, Mark's Magnificent Marble Maze, CheesePunk!

We spoke to some of the developers behind the games, (one of whom was a former #CubScout with me), and had a great time.

Though space was tight, it was a well run event and I hope they got a lot of exposure.
