Nice evening walk with the Explorers #scouts

Last night we met as a combined scout section (we had 2 previously but 5/7 in one are 13.5+ so we re-joined them for now) and went to see the knife angel in Ely.

Tonight at Scouts…some of them showed up.

To be fair it was an In-Service (Holi)day at School…though I suspect it being Camp Prep night for next week’s Scout & Guide Camp (I’m not going) wasn’t attractive, as it was “work” rather than fun.

It didn’t take that long, it’s a small camp with not many attending as I understand it. So there were some parachute games at the end….

Though they spent ages on the same few things, and they didn’t seem entertaining enough to me given how long they kept repeating them. With Young People having such short attention spans these days I have to say it perplexed me.

I was reminded of The Magic Roundabout at one point and got the Theme Tune in my head whilst watching.
