Why Next.js SSR breaks when teams ship fast:

→ Browser APIs called during server render

→ No server/client component boundaries

→ Missing caching on server-rendered routes

→ SSR never tested before deployment

Fix: define boundaries early, cache aggressively, senior review on every SSR-touching PR.

Claude has more access to my business than most CTOs have to theirs. 259 tools, 4 MCP servers, full autonomy. I am technically the bottleneck now.

Why AI coding tools still need senior engineers:

→ AI writes confidently — even when wrong
→ Can't own architecture or trade-off decisions
→ Junior + AI = faster mistakes in production
→ Senior judgment = AI as leverage, not liability

Speed without correctness isn't a feature.

It's a risk.

Why I code as a CTO

Assembled CTO John Wang on why coding makes him a better leader—and how AI tools are redefining what it means to build at scale.

Love that we’ve rebranded 'keeping the Wi-Fi on and not leaking customer data' as 'cyber resilience' and now it’s worth $2.4M. Truly, the vibe shift from cost center to ✨strategic heavyweight✨ is complete. #CTOlife #AIleader #BuzzwordBingo
