In the middle of preparing for the upcoming #CCP4 workshop (wondering of those folks will join us here on Mastadon?) - today's POTD is from the multiplicity view - when you record lots of scans but the spots still fall off the edge of the detector, what do you see?
You see this. Also encoded in here is the crystal symmetry...
Ok, structural #glycotime folks: together with Garib, Rob and Keitaro (MRC-LMB) we’re re-doing and testing the #CCP4 restraint dictionaries for #GlycosidicLinks using #AceDRG and #Privateer MKIV.
Are there any links we’ve missed in previous iterations of the monomer library?
What sort of checks would you like us to do to make sure the dictionaries are up to scratch?
We’re currently checking R/Rfree, rmsd, ring conformation, RSCC on deposited vs old_monlib vs new_monlib post-refinement.
