The annual longing for #Privateer has come upon me, wherein I really want to play my mental model of Wing Commander: Privateer.

This differs from the actual game in several important respects, chief among which is that in my version there aren't any bloody asteroid field combats because SERIOUSLY WHO THOUGHT THESE WERE A GOOD IDEA.
