Currently working on a #canbus to #HomeAssistant gateway with #esphome that supports DBC files.
Problem: ESP32 needs a physical connection to said CAN bus.

Sane solution: physically move ESP32 contraption to the CAN bus.

Set up Raspberry Pi with MCP2515 and immutable Alpine Linux that runs off RAMFS. Cross-compile Cannelloni for aarch64. Tunnel CAN bus to local machine's USB-CAN adapter. While we are at it, include serial2net.
