Il Tempo: "Non ricorda di aver mandato le mail". Il legale di El Koudri chiede la perizia psichiatrica

La difesa di Salim El Koudri chiederà una perizia psichiatrica sul 31enne accusato di strage dopo aver investito decine di passanti in pieno centro a Modena sabato 16 maggio. Lo rende noto l'avvocato Fausto Gianelli. Salim El Koudri "non si ricorda nemmeno di avere mai inviato" le mail di minaccia contro l'Università di Modena, i cristiani e Gesù Cristo. A dirlo all'AGI, riportando quando detto dal 31enne accusato di strage, è il suo avvocato, Fausto Gianelli. "Questo non significa affatto che non le abbia spedite - precisa il legale - semplicemente che è in un tale stato di confusione mentale e mancanza di lucidità che non riesce a ricostruire nulla".

Intanto è stato rinviato a martedì il suo interrogatorio nel carcere di Modena. Dopo l'impatto l'uomo avrebbe tentato la fuga e aggredito con un coltello alcune persone intervenute per fermarlo. Laureato in Economia aziendale, disoccupato e senza precedenti penali, in passato era stato seguito dai servizi di salute mentale per disturbi psichiatrici o schizoidi. Proseguono intanto le indagini: gli investigatori della polizia postale stanno analizzando computer e smartphone del 31enne. El Koudri è difeso dall'avvocato Fausto Giannelli. Il legale dell'uomo ha riportato anche la sua ricostruzione del giorno dell'attacco. "Ho preso un coltello da cucina, sono uscito di casa e sapevo che quel giorno morivo...". E' l'unica frase di senso compiuto che Salim El Koudri, 31 anni, ha riferito al suo avvocato Fausto Gianelli - contattato dall'Adnkronos - che l'ha incontrato nel carcere di Modena dopo che il giovane sabato pomeriggio si è lanciato con la sua auto in pieno centro e ha falciato 7 passanti.

The defense of Salim El Koudri will request a psychiatric evaluation of the 31-year-old accused of massacre after having run down dozens of pedestrians in the heart of Modena on Saturday, May 16th. This is announced by lawyer Fausto Gianelli. Salim El Koudri “doesn’t even remember having ever sent” the threatening emails against the University of Modena, Christians, and Jesus Christ. This is what his lawyer, Fausto Gianelli, told AGI, reporting what the 31-year-old accused of massacre said. “This does not mean at all that he didn’t send them – the lawyer clarifies – simply that he is in such a state of mental confusion and lack of clarity that he cannot reconstruct anything.”

Meanwhile, his interrogation has been postponed to Tuesday in the Modena prison. After the impact, the man allegedly attempted to flee and attacked several people who intervened to stop him with a knife. Graduated in Business Economics, unemployed and without a criminal record, he had previously been followed by mental health services for psychiatric or schizoid disorders. Investigations are continuing: police postal investigators are analyzing the 31-year-old’s computer and smartphones. El Koudri is defended by lawyer Fausto Giannelli. The lawyer also reported his reconstruction of the day of the attack. “I took a kitchen knife, I left the house, and I knew that on that day I was going to die…”. This is the only coherent sentence that Salim El Koudri, 31 years old, said to his lawyer Fausto Gianelli – contacted by Adnkronos – who met him in the Modena prison after the young man Saturday afternoon drove his car into the heart of the city and killed 7 pedestrians.

Pd nel caos più totale in Campania. A Castellammare di Stabia e a Torre Annunziata veleni, dimissioni e accuse. Il sindaco torrese Corrado Cuccurullo (nella foto), professore di Economia aziendale, si è dimesso dopo l'affondo del procuratore Nunzio Fragliasso, senza che i dem muovessero un dito per difenderlo, prova di un disimpegno evidente. Intanto il partito pressa Luigi Vicinanza, giornalista e sindaco stabiese, affinché faccia un passo di lato che non avviene.
Per il primo, il procuratore Fragliasso aveva parlato di "troppe ombre e poche luci" in città e nell'amministrazione. Cuccurullo aveva così protestato e presentato le sue dimissioni, per poi andare in piazza qualche giorno dopo. Tuttavia il bagno di folla non sembra riuscito. Intanto a Castellammare, il segretario regionale del Pd in Campania, Piero De Luca per altro figlio del governatore Vincenzo, invita Vicinanza "a un'ulteriore riflessione sull'opportunità di un eventuale passo di lato, per provare ad evitare eventuali rischi di scioglimento e contribuire a far ripartire e rilanciare, con un gruppo rinnovato, il lavoro amministrativo, nell'interesse della comunità stabiese".

Mayor Corrado Cuccurullo (in the photo), a professor of Business Economics, resigned after an attack by prosecutor Nunzio Fragliasso, without the Democrats doing anything to defend him, a clear sign of disengagement. Meanwhile, the party is pressuring Luigi Vicinanza, a journalist and mayor of Stabia, to step aside, which he is not doing.

Cuccurullo had thus protested and presented his resignation, before going to the square a few days later. However, the demonstration did not seem to work. Meanwhile, in Castellammare, the regional secretary of the Pd in Campania, Piero De Luca – another son of Governor Vincenzo – invites Vicinanza “to further reflection on the opportunity of a possible step aside, in order to try to avoid any risks of dissolution and to contribute to restarting and relaunching, with a renewed group, the administrative work, in the interest of the Stabia community.”
