So, my left crank is again tighten as it must be.. BUT the marks of the rough terrain are still there.... and also I found in the workshop another rare Bike model... IDK.. it looked uncomfortable to use on the streets in poor condition as is common where I live..... 🤷‍♂️🚲

this simple folding mechanism of my basic mtb has endured more than I expected. in fact it's not for extreme jumps or acrobatics but at least, it has not been bad for my rides on the hills... 🚲🚵‍♂️

The last few days I had to do a few repairs to my road bike: swap the front tire, the chain, and the cassette. As I cycle a lot I try to make parts last, and use cheaper, heavier parts, e.g., I use SRAM 1031 chains which I bought in bulk, much cheaper than, e.g., an SRAM 1051 chain.

Today I decided to try the Chinese ZTTO cassette which arrived in the mail yesterday: it works nicely, just like an SRAM or Shimano cassette that costs 2-3 times as much.

it's the first time that during my ride, the left crank of my mtb came off and I was left without the nut where it's tightened, so I came back like turtle trying to pedal with extreme care... I didn't know exactly why, but lately some parts have been loosening up just to go through rough terrain, when they're supposed to have to endure more.... 😮‍💨 😕
