So sah es 2016 bei meinem Besuch aus. Inzwischen hat er die Werkstatt nebenan dazu bekommen und etwas mehr Platz.

@insl: It's now on his website at https://www.kinetics-online.co.uk/custom-builds/recumbent-brompton/ and official: #BenCooper aka #Kinetics plans to offer a #Brompton FWD #recumbent kit in the future!

Citing from there:

"This, with some more development, will be a kit that you can add to your own Brompton – there’s no modification needed to the mainframe, it just replaces the front fork. Watch this space…"

There's even a video of unfolding it!

This solves at least the "problem" what to do with my current Brompton if I buy a G-Line. 😉

@insl: Wow, didn't know there's a second type of #Brompton based recumbents besides the '90s Brompton #recumbent kit by #JulianeNeuss. And even one a) still available (i.e. for current generations instead of Mk2 or earlier) and b) with simpler front wheel drive. Couldn't find it in the long list at https://www.kinetics-online.co.uk/category/custom-builds/, though.

And if you use a #SeatPostHugger, you could even still use Brompton front bags (mounted in the back to the seat post).

Now I want two #BenCooper Bromptons. 🤪
