kc poschAlthough we are still in Austria, it feels more and more Italian. Or Slovenian, if you so wish. Today, we bicycled next to the Lake Wörthersee, and later along the river Drau in southern Austria. I love to be at a place in history, where people peacefully live together.

I understand that people need to celebrate such an outburst of nature like we had today in Austria. Fertility is in the air everywhere. With extra love I ate a coloured egg this morning. Bunnies supposedly were hiding presents for the kids yesterday. I watched two storks in their nest; they were about to make baby storks, I guess. Birds are thinking of the same thing. In the tree on the photo, thousands of bees were humming in sheer excitement. What a feast!
Axel 🚴😷🐧🐪⌨ | #WeAreNatenomHeute wieder mit dem #Brompton #ElectricGLine #rausgeschafft zu einer #Radtour zw. der Iller und (im Bild) der Aitrach. Nicht nur wegen Überquerung des Höhenzuges zwischen den beiden Flüssen, sondern auch wegen einem nicht mehr so schön flach entlang der Iller verlaufenden Illertalradweg ca. 4-5 Mal soviel Höhenmeter wie gestern (und entsprechend auch mehr E-Bike-Anteil), dafür nur grob halb soviele km. Und deutlich wärmeres Wetter als gestern, aber auch mehr Wind.
Heute mit dem #ElectricGLine #rausgeschafft und mit voll beladener Fronttasche knappe 50km durchs #Illertal geradelt. Und weil's selbst talaufwärts recht flach war, trotz der 4-Gang-Schaltung mit nur ca. 150% Spreizung geschätzt 95% der Strecke ohne elektrischen Rückenwind gefahren.

We went to Biel to see World Peace, a US #powerviolence band playing pv on basses and drum, no regular guitars. It definitely one of those bands where the live experience is what you want to see, it's hard to capture this power on a recording. Sadly their set was way to short. Luckily Exorbitant Prices Must Diminish made up for this by playing a extensive set of their fast #grindcore - mainly by not agreeing which was the last song. I haven't seen a band playing that many last songs ever. 😋
The next day we cycled towards home on my two Bromptons. I then realised that one of the advantages of the telescopic seat post is that you can switch saddles and therefor bikes easily. After 100km we called it a day in Wohlhausen and took the train home.

Henrik BakkenÅrets første #InterRail er i gang. Litt tid i Malmö (akkurat nå Hyllie bryggeri) før turen går til Rostock med ferge fra Trelleborg grunnet buss for tog fra Odense til Hamburg.
#Brompton med på turen gjør at man får sett utrolig mye mer av byene man er innom.
