"Join #Maine Master #Naturalist, Certified Interpretive Guide, and Reserve Executive Director Emeritus Paul Dest to learn about nature’s engineer, the #NorthAmerican Beaver. A self-described 'beaver believer,' Paul will cover the life history and ecology of this fascinating rodent. Participants will take a short walk along the #MerrilandRiver to see a #BeaverLodge, dam, and other visual signs of the beaver’s presence in the adjacent forest."
