As long as I've lived in my neighbourhood there has been at least 1 family of beavers along the creek nearby. But after I noticed their dam broke and lodge collapse I went on a hike along Blackmud Creek looking for where the beavers set up shop this year and I couldn't find a new dam or lodge. :( might be no beaver friends this year.
