An old photo, taken with a DSLR, edited on an iPad.
She and her brother had been jumping on a trampoline, her older brother left her and she sat down in the middle of the trampoline, a bit of a pout combined with what next. The trampoline was surrounded by mesh that helped diffuse the harsh lighting, though its actual purpose was to keep kids from hitting the side or worse. I had a moment to react and it's a photo I've played with a lot. :)
This was taken in, obviously, very crappy lighting, but I loved the silhouettes, so took the image anyway and ditched the colour for a more harmonizing sepia. :)
4 floors up is level with the tops of the hydro poles. A fire happened and some parts needed fixing. I recall it being something like -20C when these lads had to go up and replace parts.
This was taken from Amherst Island. Those turbines along the horizon are on Wolfe Island, which had turbines for years before Amherst Island.
