Pyhäinpäivä oli harmaa ja kostea, mutta siitä huolimatta erinomainen ulkoiluun. Oikeastaan sää oli jollain tapaa jopa sopivampi kuin auringonpaiste olisi ollut.

Retkeilin pääasiassa Sippulanniemen maastossa ja sieltä sitten kävelin kahden geokätkön johdattamana aina Lutakkoon saakka. Tällä kertaa sykkeeni oli aika korkea PK-lenkiksi, mutta en sitä saanut matalampanakaan pidettyä.

Minulla oli ensimmäistä kertaa mukana uusi gepsini, GPSMAP 65 ja olen siihen erittäin tyytyväinen. Näin aluksi käyttö on vielä vähän haparoivaa, kun kaiki näppäinrutiinit eivät ole vielä tallentuneet selkärankaan - kyllä, siinä on näppäimet.

Minulla oki eväänä ruistorillapohjia, punaista pestoa, salamia ja chilin&cheddarin makuista aamupalajuustoa. Arvostelu: normitortilla on parempi ja pestokastike ei ole vaivansa väärtti tässä tapauksessa. Aamupalajusto ja salami ovat toimiva idea. Tätä pitää kehittää eteenpäin vaellusruoaksi asti.

Geokätköjä tuli kolme: kaksi tradia ja yksi mysse. Labeja tuli toistakymmentä päälle, mutta kuka niitä laskee. Sitä Lutakossa olevaa mysseä minä etsin jo joskus aiemmin, mutta jostain syystä en vain löytänyt sitä, vaikkei se mikään vaikea ollutkaan. Näin vain käy joskus.

My autumn trip's last hiking day on the road E8, between the border and Kilpisjärvi Retkeilykeskus, where I stayed for a couple of days.

Retkeilykeskus is an excellent place to stay day or two - only if you are looking for glamping, it is not suited for you.

This was the most boring hiking day because it was all on the paved road, but I don't mind - the views were awesome.

Pictures from the second day of my Lapland hike a month ago. I spent the second day in Norway, close to Golddajakta fjell.
In the morning, there was frost. It was my first below-zero experience with my tent, and I had some condensation problems.
The weather was perfect and the views were breathtaking. Well, until the afternoon, when I reached a very rocky and bland area between the fjells.
