My autumn trip's last hiking day on the road E8, between the border and Kilpisjärvi Retkeilykeskus, where I stayed for a couple of days.

Retkeilykeskus is an excellent place to stay day or two - only if you are looking for glamping, it is not suited for you.

This was the most boring hiking day because it was all on the paved road, but I don't mind - the views were awesome.

Pictures from the second day of my Lapland hike a month ago. I spent the second day in Norway, close to Golddajakta fjell.
In the morning, there was frost. It was my first below-zero experience with my tent, and I had some condensation problems.
The weather was perfect and the views were breathtaking. Well, until the afternoon, when I reached a very rocky and bland area between the fjells.
