Finally got around to playing a few planets’ worth of Takuma Okada’s ‘Alone Among the Stars’ tonight. Quite relaxing, quite evocative for being so minimal, and a welcome excuse to write with my fountain pens. I found an ice planet with bizarre crystalline structures, and a mostly (fresh-water) oceanic planet with some cool plant life, but mysteriously absent animal life (though there was evidence of large beasts previous... maybe an extinction event?).
