I'm not #religious because #religion is just something that was made up by MEN to control & exert power over people into behaving the way that they want people to behave in subordination to them.

If you believe in the tenets of any religion, you do NOT have to abide by the rules of an organized religion to live by them.

I believe in the #TenCommandments & the #GoldenRule not because I believe in #Christianity but because they just make sense. 🤷‍♂️

There are other religious tenets that make no sense to me at all & I pay absolutely NO attention to them.

Nicht nur ich bin gespannt auf Ihre Blogbeiträge, denn James Talarico wird gerade heftig angegriffen, für Aussagen wie Gott sei nicht-binär, oder für seine Verteidigung der Rechten von Transgender.

Ich selbst bin Agnostiker (die Nicht-Existenz Gottes zu beweisen, das erweist sich als wenig praktikabel, schon aus logischen Gründen, d.h. mir mangelt es an missionarischem Eifer eines Atheisten), finde jedoch Religionen aus historischen, soziologischen, kulturellen, psychologischen und vielen anderen Gründen mehr, richtig spannend, denn gerade deren Grundlagen, ob Tipiṭaka, Koran, Bibel, Tora, uvm erzählen jahrtausende alte Geschichten von der Menschwerdung, in all ihren Facetten. Wie Menschen geliebt, gehasst, Kriege begonnen und Frieden geschlossen haben.
