@BelSel The advice I've read about hashtags is to put them in a list at the end of the post rather than writing them inline. A lot of people with visual impairments use screen readers, and it breaks up the flow when the reader says "hashtag-topic hashtag-verb hashtag-something" throughout a paragraph.

Also, screen readers pronounce hashtags more accurately if you capitalize each word in a multi-word tag: #MastodonTips #AccessibleHashtags etc.

@BlindGordon @mastodonmigration yes and please use #AccessibleHashtags (capitalize the first letter of every word in a multi-word hashtag) which are better for people who use screen readers, and easier to read for everyone else as well. #MastodonMigration #NewHere
