The debates in Dublin must concentrate on the liberation of Palestine from Zionism and its militarized genocide, indeed, on liberating the whole of West Asia from the monstrosity which Israel has become.

Less than a year ago, the first Anti-Zionist Congress met in Vienna for three days of debates and discussion, in the very city that in February 1896 Theodor Herzl published Der Judenstaat, the small volume which started the development of political Zionism which led to the Zionist movement, and the settler-colonial state of Israel, now involved in fully-fledged genocide, ethnic cleansing of Palestine, a war against Iran and the destruction and genocide in South Lebanon. 130 years of Zionism have created the worst political monsters since the Third Reich. This was, of course, done in the name of liberating Jews.

Claim of Responsibility for Arson Attack on “Israeli” Business in Exarchia

Palestine still continues to struggle. Against such an attack, which aims to annihilate every human presence, to eliminate every trace of the cultural element of the Palestinian people. A continuous crime against humanity, by the Zionists who expand their occupation of the territory of Palestine every day.

In a parallel universe, the Greek state pretends not to hear, not to see, not to know anything and makes sure to support the crimes of the Zionists in every way for the sake of the “strategy of the alliance”. It gives free rein to kidnap, illegally detain, humiliate and torture even European activists, while Greek shipowners unmolested conclude agreements with the Zionists. The big businessmen of tourism rub their hands in front of the bloody money left by the thousands of IDF soldiers who come to the country for vacation. The same goes for the big real estate owners and brokers who enrich themselves with the “Israeli” capital invested in the country.

Bloody money that changes hands against the backdrop of a genocide. This flow of capital and investment is what creates the “welcoming climate” for the supporters and orchestrators of genocide. With the corresponding “air” that this climate gives them, knowing that they have the state’s backing, while they are here they turn against anyone who reacts to their presence. They attack passersby who support Palestine, they attack solidarity rallies in Palestine, they attack shops and workers who openly express themselves in favor of Palestine, they even go so far as to set fire to a store in the center of Athens because it dared to declare its opposition to genocide.

Let it be clear that we will not give space to genocidaires to treat us as subservient people in their estate. Nor to hide behind state immunity and their investments. They will be confronted with practical solidarity with Palestine and its Resistance. Let us disturb their peace. In the streets, in their investments, on their vacations, everywhere. Until the struggle of Palestine is vindicated.

Our energy is dedicated to the thousands of Palestinians who fell in battle with weapons in their hands, to the thousands of Palestinians, men, women and children who were murdered by Zionism, to those who refuse to bow their heads, remaining in the heroic Gaza Strip, under the ruins, in the cold, disease, famine. Also to the millions of Palestinians in the diaspora, who live far from the soil of their homeland, those who were forced to flee or were expelled from their homes, who felt the pain of uprooting. To all those peoples who took up arms for the cause of Palestine, to those who oppose the genocidal formation of “Israel” worldwide.
