I am going to take this as asking about something divisive. How about this: A world where people consider the male contribution to a child insignificant? A character after a weird question by a guy she rides a lot says something to the man similar to, "A few drops in a moment of passion compared to me pregnant much of a year? Keep looking handsome and don't bother your head about such nonsense, or other guys I might like." Men raise their sisters children instead with the aid of their mother's family, but the government does maintain a mandatory genetic registry.
