So glad to see this being organized. Like "howling" during the shutdowns of the pandemic, this could be a simple, connecting, peaceful moment. That could turn into a movement.
11:00 AM MTN, this Saturday. Pull the car over, sit down on the ground, stop what you're doing and protest by inaction. Turn the screens down. Be present.
This is a social experiment that I want to see go viral because of its simplicity.

I heard stories of people who've fed crows, and been given gifts in return. It sounded charming, so I began doing that.
Then, one night, there was a rapping on my bedroom window. I stumbled up and opened.
A crow flew in and spoke: "They're coming for you. You must flee."
I only just made it out.
I want so much more of this.

What's crazy is that with a nearby main-sequence star we have a nearly unlimited source of energy. It's a far horizon but the life we live doesn't need money, or any capitalist systems at all. We could all just keep doing what we're doing and let the Sun power the entire process. The economy of working to gather enough fossil fuels and then burning them to move ourselves around the landscape is obviously an antiquated notion, and one that we can finally abandon.
