Took my cat to the vet yesterday. I was the only person masking. My vet said, "Covid looks like it's turning into a common cold." I responded, "A common cold that causes permanent brain damage and blood clots and strokes, and acquired immune deficiency, yes."
Her eyes bugged out.
I really hope she googled this after work. Not gonna hold my breath. (But I will wear a mask.)

Also realized I came across very much like I was kind of lecturing or something in initial response; I swear I didn't presume anything or either way or intend to do that, just stating POV on situation!
@Lorrrraaaaine I'm happy about the sustained good news about Nova's efficacy. Even though I got a new primary course of Nova I also wouldn't give up a single precaution at this point; virus is simply too dynamic and omnipresent in population.
And that's just on an individual level too; if I were become infected regardless I am not going to become just another viral vector for this nightmare-pathogen.
This conflation is convenient for people who argued LC is like any other post-viral syndrome and that argued SARS Cov 2 is not "superantigenicalifragilisticexpialodocious."
