One of the weirder aspects of using subtitles is actually finally learning the titles, lyrics, & artists behind most of the pop music I've encountered through my life.

For whatever reason, I Just. Cannot. Parse. most lyrics. So unless the musical quality of a singer's voice is interesting enough for its own sake (rare, for my taste) that I'm willing to listen to something often enough to winkle out the words, vocal music is mostly just gibberish to me. >
