@VeroniqueB99 And just a reminder, people are profiting from the concentration camps.

"...as of July 2023, 90.8 percent of people detained in ICE custody each day are held in detention facilities owned or operated by private prison corporations."

Unchecked Growth: Private Prison Corporations and Immigration Detention, Three Years Into the Biden Administration

Three years into the Biden administration, the number of people held in ICE detention continues to grow, and private prison companies hold an increasingly tight grip on the mass immigration detention system.

@PirateFrog If you can get past the way he pronounces Yggdrasil, this was a pretty good video, too:

Cisgender 101!

This one has been going around for a long time from what I understand, but it's still super relevant. 😁

Boosting is really important on the Fediverse because it makes whatever you boost federate to the entire servers of all your followers. A boosted public post appears on your followers' timelines, but also becomes searchable to everyone on the servers of your followers.

Instead of an algorithm, the Fediverse relies on human beings sharing stuff they find interesting. This process creates a wonderful chain of discovery.

To boost something here, click the 🔁 or 🚀 button below the post.

Enjoy a sick new drum&bass single from me, and also an important message...

If you have friends who care about videogames - please consider boosting & sharing!

Music made with 100% FOSS software (details in description).

Bonus for Mastodon people - you can download the song itself (consider it licensed under CC-BY-SA).

@unfa I approve of this message (I look forward to listening to the track linked)

In my view, it's a high-level decision to enforce a subscription model for entertainment, to extract more revenue from gamers, pay for a 'value pack' that they use little of, or pay more for a fuller experience out of FOMO, or buy accelerators to solve problems maked in by design.

Studios/publishers: just make fun games! Truly advocate for the user, rather than dictate the terms of engagement for playing games.

@unfa sick track! 🔥
@mukayu Thanks! I've been listening to Pendulum again lately, I guess it shows :D

@unfa It does! Reminded me of their Voodoo People remix which has been one of my favorite tracks forever.

Btw, thanks for all the vids! You've made my transition from Ableton to Ardour a lot easier than it otherwise would've been.
