There are still a lot of people who think free and open-source software should cost nothing. To quote @rms it is "free as in freedom, not as in beer." Cost has nothing to do with it. There is nothing wrong with charging for FOSS.
Taking notes has really helped me learn GNU/Linux and different distros as I've hopped around. Here is an example of my Arch notes written in ghostwriter.

After messing with Gentoo for a few days, as well as a few other distros, my distro-hopping expedition has landed me on Arch. What led me here was trying KaOS (it was lovely) and realizing it was too limited (no 32-bit libraries, wtf) and if I really wanted the benefits of Arch, I should just install Arch.
I am trying KDE Plasma 6.4.1. It is great! Coming from Cinnamon there is nothing I am missing.
