If you want to make your Mastodon account as secure as possible, you can use "two factor authentication" also known as 2FA.
2FA means that even if someone finds out your password, they won't be able to access your account because logging in also requires entering a special ever-changing code. (This is similar to the system many banks use to protect online accounts.)
