Day three of complete #decaffeination. Crazy vivid dreams again last night. I hope that's not a permanent change, because I really prefer peaceful, dreamless sleep.

Mild headache this morning, but it's not too bad.

Brain fog and disorientation seem to be fading, which of course is a good thing.

Day two of complete #decaffeination. No headache this morning, which is a huge improvement, but I'm still feeling brain-fogged and disoriented. Not as bad as yesterday, though.

CRAZY vivid frickin' dreams last night, and I'm pretty sure I don't like it. Hopefully I'll go back to the quiet, peaceful downy darkness of mostly-dreamless sleep before too long.

Pepper's best friend Louie was in the animal hospital for a while. He was just released yesterday, and they got to see each other today. They were ecstatic, and it was adorable.

I'm really enjoying the #podcast #CityOfTheRails. It's a really fascinating look into the hobo subculture, which I've always found pretty interesting. I have for as long as I can remember. I'll never be a hobo, but part of me understands the draw. There's an allure to it. A life of non-stop adventure, free of society's rules, at the cost of society's protections.

There's a part of me that gets it, and maybe even envies it a little bit.
