This blog post is not about Ron DeSantis, Governor of Florida. It most certainly is not about his fascist tactics, nor does it compare this blatant attack on the free press with similar tactics taken by Hitler in Nazi Germany. It definitely is not about how any infringement upon a free and open press is by default an open attack upon the Bill of Rights outlined in the Constitution of the United States of America. And it certainly is not about how the rights and liberties of all Americans are threatened by Ron DeSantis and his evil, extremist, fascist goons.
Auschwitz Memorial2 March 1943 | A transport of 1,736 Jewish men, women & children arrived at #Auschwitz from Berlin. SS doctors during the selection sent 292 men & 385 women to the camp. The remaining 1,059 people were murdered in gas chambers.
One of them was a 7-year old Rut Mandel.

24 February 1936 | A Dutch Jewish boy, Joseph Lierens, was born in Amsterdam (in the picture: 2nd from the right).
In August 1942 he was deported to Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber. His parents Salomon & Bertha, and brothers Samson, Marc and Bernard were also killed in the camp.
