24 February 1936 | A Dutch Jewish boy, Joseph Lierens, was born in Amsterdam (in the picture: 2nd from the right).

In August 1942 he was deported to Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber. His parents Salomon & Bertha, and brothers Samson, Marc and Bernard were also killed in the camp.
