@felyashono @tkinias What you probably mean is to do “one block“ and that is at about 1000,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh). There are multiple transactions in one block (roughly 2000), but there is some overhead.

If you talk about mining: even the most efficient Bitcoin mining operation takes roughly 155,000 kWh to mine one Bitcoin.

The energy usage of bitcoin is IMHO sickening.

Using multiple collections and remembering to use collections whenever you can makes building new cool stuff for the site A LOT easier.

Also worth mentioning that in the #indieweb world, having multiple "types" of posts (i.e. "post", "note", etc…) is a valued characteristic (per #indiemark at least https://indieweb.org/IndieMark#Level_2_posts)
