Penny RichardsA long weekend is a good time to start a #crochet project... in #chalk ? Chalk granny squares #afghan on my front walk right now. I've been adding to it as time allows; might keep adding to it, but I like that it's square now. Like an actual afghan, it's great for using up little colorful leftover nubbins, and for catching up on audio books or podcasts. And I don't have to wash or store this one when it's done. :) #chalkart

Ikea has started selling plug-in solar kits. No permits, no installers, full placement flexibility.
Currently they are only available in Germany but if it goes well they will start rolling them out in many more countries.
The system is small (800W) but that's enough to cover roughly 35% of a typical European apartment's daily electricity use.

"Currently, the CDNC faces a $300,000 deficit with only weeks left in the fiscal year which ends on June 30, 2025. Without urgent support, access to this collection could be significantly reduced for researchers around the world."
