As a writer, I prefer to write by hand, and I have taught myself to write like they did in the Victorian age. But shorthand is faster and more efficient. Brandt's Duployan is a cool shorthand! #shorthand #penmanship #amwriting

I have been using #Colemak for 5 months now!

I switched from qwerty cold turkey, and it took me about 3 months before I was at a comfortable level.

My hands are much happier now. I can feel how ergonomic the layout is.
Important for people who write a lot! 😁

Neurodivergent Artwork - where?

However, I have big problems finding decent art that is open licensed.

PS: Puzzle pieces, crying children, functioning labels, etc. is not what I mean when I say "decent art" :)

I was quite disappointed to learn that "gaol" is not pronounced somewhere between "goal" and "ghoul" as I thought it was, but--unsurprisingly--like "jail" 🤨

And here I thought that "gaoler" had a nice ring to it! A lichen on wet prison walls ring to it, a disease-ridden foggy air to it. But, no ... plain old "jailer" ...

Christmas typing and the reading of classics; feeding two birds with one seed!

Since I always wanted to get around to reading the classics, I started to type my way through Charles Dickens' "A Tale of Two Cities".
I became so engrossed that I typed my way through the first three chapters, about ten thousand words typed!

War and Peace next? :)

Alternatives to Amphetype for folks who prefer to work online in toot 2 ...
