I'm someone who enjoys peaceful spots to walk, read, & take photos. I enjoy #bloomscrolling to see the beauty in your part of our world. I've learned a lot here, especially, #kindness.

From my world, my little dog, forest trails, my nightly movies, snacks, & random silliness or somberness.

I must have been bitten by something on the neck two days ago. Near my jugular. Mwahh-hah-hah!

I developed a red blotch that I first noticed the following morning (yesterday). Now the blotch is more vivid tonight & there's mild swelling. Ugh. Even my collarbone feels "funny."

Am I going through what Peter Parker went through? Or should I panic about it being something more nefarious than a spider: tick?

The hooligans are slyly making their way toward me. At this pace they'll be here by sundown over four hours from now.

In the world of movie watching, I just learned something new today.

Are you a fan of DOUBLE INDEMNITY (1944)? You know that one with Fred MacMurray & Barbara Stanwyck, and including the incomparable Edward G. Robinson? The one with all the "Baby," this and "Baby" that? *It's one of my favorites.

I just learned that John Cassavetes directed a newer version with Alan Arkin, Beverly D'Angelo, Peter Falk, & Charles Durning (!!) called BIG TROUBLE (1986).

Taking a look back at a past hike at a pond deep within a forest some distance away from where I live. I love the echo traveling across the pond.

The geese have a lot to say about me being there. I'm glad they did.

How about another #CrappyCellphonePhoto for today?
I spied this deer, or rather, it spied me when I emerged from the forest.

It sure felt good getting out today, seemed like a long time for me to take the time to clear my head, and stretch my achy everything.

Bluebird.

Found my motivation this morning to get moving.

Headed out into one of my favorite forests and spent 30 minutes of rapid walking and then 15 minutes of sauntering (my favorite part) where I caught this pretty bird.
