I'm someone who enjoys peaceful spots to walk, read, & take photos. I enjoy #bloomscrolling to see the beauty in your part of our world. I've learned a lot here, especially, #kindness.

From my world, my little dog, forest trails, my nightly movies, snacks, & random silliness or somberness.

Be the elephant you wish to see in the room.

I must have been bitten by something on the neck two days ago. Near my jugular. Mwahh-hah-hah!

I developed a red blotch that I first noticed the following morning (yesterday). Now the blotch is more vivid tonight & there's mild swelling. Ugh. Even my collarbone feels "funny."

Am I going through what Peter Parker went through? Or should I panic about it being something more nefarious than a spider: tick?

Write a note to yourself about something good you've done recently.

Completed a lot of telephone calls and sent emails to a gazillion places that I've had on my to-do list. The usual day-to-day living stuff.

Don't say this too loudly *whispers* I have an informal meeting/interview tomorrow. Not sure if it's what I want but I'll ask questions & will see if this is it.

Apples & bananas. I definitely had my share today.

Tonight's Three was a tough one for me to prepare as I've been in the throes of sadness all day. Gut-wrenching hopelessness.

I'm glad to have forced myself to think about all the good in the day because it helped me balance out all the drudgery.

Tomorrow is a new day.

Spent the morning in the forest with my little dog. A few deer ran past us, one even gave us an irritated snort before bolting.

Pasta. A rarity in my life these days, but was oh-so delicious.

Crow parents & their crow offspring cawing underneath my bedroom window at 8:00 a.m. this morning. Two on the tree branch that allows them to peer in my window & two wandering underneath the leaves of the hostas. Everyone talking at once!

Friends, asking for accounts on Mastodon or organizations that are about low vision resources. I am losing my sight (not from macular degeneration) and want to connect with others like me. It's pretty devastating for someone who's been an artist and photographer all my life, but accessibillity options are greatly improving. Currently using Zoom, Magnify and VoiceOver on the iphone. Looking for connection and inspiration and your well wishes too! #lowvision #accessibility
