“We think we invented it in 1776, but maybe we have forgotten what it is like to bind together and sacrifice everything for a common national ideal and identity, until the Ukrainians showed us how it is done in 2023—by refusing to surrender their freedom.

If Americans join together like Ukraine has done, and restore a sense of shared truth, united purpose, and common decency--to save our democracy--it will be thanks to Ukraine, the new land of the free and home of the brave.

Ukrainians are standing up to Putin’s attack on their homeland, while we are still arguing about whether Russia’s attack on America actually happened, along with other Qanon theories.

I thought I came here as part of an American effort to save Ukraine, but this is what I learned: it is Ukraine that will save America.”

Beamed down from the heavens.

This is the first ruby-throated hummingbird that I've seen this year. It was visiting a hummingbird feeder I set up a few days ago. When I saw the photo, I couldn't help to think it looked like it was in a heavenly light. Maybe, this is a photo for a show like "Paranormal Caught on Camera." 😂 What is really going on is that there is an out-of-focus down spout from a gutter directly behind the bird. I couldn't help but want to post this, I have a better photo that I'll post in a little while. OBTW this is a little male.

Tennessee MAGA GOP have successfully banned drag shows, banned teaching about America's history racism in schools, and just last week advanced a bill to expand concealed carry from handguns to ALL firearms—calling it a "civil right."

Covenant School is a private Christian school.

I don't want to hear a word from MAGA extremists who claim mass shootings happen b/c "we've taken God out of school."

It's not God out of schools that's the problem—it's NRA & gun lobby money in your coffers that is.
