In July the Radio Frequency Hackers Sanctuary and the team at WiGLE.net support an all out timesd event for WarDriving.

It’s just bragging rights for the scoreboard mostly - however a factored number of your WarDrive points do count for the inperson DEFCON Wireless Village Capture The Flag event during the DEFCON gathering.

This year I won, a lot like the first year I ever attempted it and I wrote it up completely so that you can understand how to post a lot of points on the scoreboard or maybe even win.

Read that here - https://www.busysignal.io/wwwd2025-defcon33/

Thank you @wiglenet and the @rfhackers for running the 2025 World Wide WarDrive DEFCON 33 event.

What an amazing thing to see everyone building rigs, phones, antennas on their vehicles, RasPis in the side bags of motorcycles, bikes!

Coming soon a full write up of what I did.

There is nothing wrong with running Windows XP when the stuff you're running only works with Windows XP.

@dustinfinn has taken the lead in the @defcon 33 RF Hacker Sanctuary World Wide War Drive!

My wife and I are sitting vigil for my familiar. Shes nearing the end of her life. Hard to move, back paws don't cooperate.

My wife and I split turns sleeping on the floor with her.

She is still nibbling, drinking water, and litterbox. Could be tomorrow, could be in 2 weeks.

Thank you.

It is hard, but I've also been with her for 17 years. She was a rescue as well, when a terrible acquaintance dumped their cats outside in Greenwood IN during their divorce.

We found out, and moved into action to find and rescue. Been with us ever since.

But we absolutely will make sure her last days are peaceful and have a good death.

We already have cremation services set up. Our last cats all have had the same.

@crankylinuxuser :( one of ours developed weakness in back legs almost a year ago but it looks like just arthritis or something; hasn’t affected any other behavior yet. We lost one just a year or two ago and watching them go slowly is hard.
