Swear to DOS this is not an April Fools

Proud to announce that I am partnering with Launching Children Out of Cannons, LLC to produce cutting edge, AI-first intel for their cannon targeting systems.

In this day and age, we need to be ready for threats, both Cyber™ and Kinetic®. That is where Launching Children Out of Cannons ($CANNONS on nasdaq) comes in. By launching children out of cannons, we are not just launching children -- we're doing it with cannons.

This technology is required, and only used for defensive operations. That's why we are proud of our working relationships with ICE, DarkMatter Group, The IDF, Hamas, Palantir, Anduril, Lockheed Martin, CNMF, Cybercom, Taste of Maine, guantanamo bay, and the brave men and women who submit videos to LiveLeak.

Not adults; Children. Not car seats; Cannons.

Together.

Happy Trans Day of Visibility. I know trans people and I know fascists who are making life difficult for trans people. The trans people are pretty cool and I'm glad I know them. The fascists can go fall down a deep dark hole.

So it's TDOV again apparently.

Which means it's five years that I've been out publicly.

There's about 1 or 2% of us in the population, so you probably know at least a couple others.

I tend to be more visible than other trans folks, in part because I can be. There's a lot of us who aren't as obvious or as loud about it.

A lot of us tend to be shockingly competent and capable, tho at least some of that is survivorship bias.

Most of us want to be able to live our lives in peace, tho there's some really loud assholes who have unreasonable objections to this.

Ultimately we're people, just like you - with our own hopes and fears and joys and challenges.

And if you ask me - I think we're pretty fucking awesome. Why don't you get to know us and find out why?

trans people should have the right to live quiet, private lives free from harassment, just like everyone else

we certainly shouldn't have to do some performative social media thing for all the normies in order to have that

Big news!
I'm launching a tiny Mac app 🥺🔍🤏

It's called TinyStart, and it's a lightweight Launcher and Emoji picker for macOS!

Unlike Spotlight, TinyStart is super fast at showing results and launching apps. It never becomes overcrowded with search results you don't need, and it lets you open URLs, perform web searches with custom search engines, and quickly open folders in Finder.

Oh and yes, I think the Emoji picker is pretty good too. It's everything the default macOS Emoji picker isn't: it's fast, it lets you insert Emojis in any text field, it isn't picky about keywords, and it learns your favorite Emojis over time.

Get TinyStart at https://tinystart.app: it's €5, you pay for it once and future updates are free!

also I made a lil' video to show you what it looks like:

@patrickwardle This blog about the new macOS endpoint events is interesting. During the 26.4 beta (betas 1 and 3, I believe) I had major problems with dns resolution that seemed to come and go at times, and I was able to “fix” it temporarily by toggling filtering or switching adapters. I wonder if it was all related to this new functionality?
