In the tutorial section of the fantastic game Portal 2, the player has to stand in front of a painting to learn the control scheme of the game. The painting pictures a mountain towering over a cabin at a lake. While skiing in Flumserberg in beautiful Switzerland, I discovered that same mountain.
I don't know the name of the mountain, but you can take a look yourself on Google Earth: https://earth.google.com/web/@47.13008174,9.35323925,1642.40090052a,3716.61520511d,35y,62.0365022h,82.47046427t,0r

I just started my second play through of #arizonasunshine2. It's a fantastic #vr game. This time around I played it on my #pico4 headset using #alvr on #linux . And it worked flawlessly! I downloaded it from #steam, launched ALVR, launched the game and it worked without any tinkering. The experience is pretty much the same as using #virtualdesktop on #windows.
I am amazed by the simplicity of #gaming on Linux these days!
...and the same is true for the upcoming Quake4 VR. Playable demo incoming in the coming days! đ
Shoutout to the studio behind the brilliant game Bright Memory: Infinite for creating a menu background that adapts changes done in the graphics section on the fly so players can see the immediate effect of their settings before returning to the game. I haven't seen something like this in any other game. Am I wrong?
Fantastic! Team Beef, currently working on bringing the classic Jedi Knight games to virtual reality announced that they now have a working build for the new Pico 4 headset. So if you sign up on their Patreon now you can play the classic game either on the Quest 2 or the Pico 4. đŽ
