I think Star Was has become so iconic that we've forgotten it's a product of the seventies, specifically seventies SF: the visual design, specifically the fact that it's all scuffed and dinged, and the way it reacts to earlier SF.

#Andor made this plain in its visual design and themes; ie, it's a seventies-style SF film, not an eighties-style blockbuster.

Just realized my banner picture might be interpreted as representing someone unconscious (or worse). So let me clarify that the pictured character (Syril Karn, from the #Andor series) is healthy — just fed up and taking a rest.

(I might change it or remove it, I don't feel super comfortable greeting people who visit my profile with what looks like an unconscious person 😬 even though it is obviously fiction and the fictitious character is fine)
