Prey 2022 tries to be annoying to concervatives

The Predator franchise started its life as a masculine super-macho, mega-violent little B-Movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger. In my review of the first film, I even speculated, for a second, that it might have even been racist. Something that a certain side of political spectrum finds to be a quality of a movie. That certain side of the political spectrum really didn't get when Dan Trachtenberg decided, he is making a feminist, native-American movie in the same franchise.

After showing the kiddo Alien and Aliens, Terminator and T2, she wisely said “I’m glad each of these movies got one sequel.”

After showing her Prey last night she said “I’m glad the Predator franchise existed to give me that. Seven more just like that please.”

She has some limited interest in Predator out of respect for John McTiernan‘s skill as a director but none for a sausage fest of oiled up muscle men getting murdered

In flight snacks…Greater Noctule Bat in Europe documented catching and snacking on European Robin while in flight.

The video figure in the article is really interesting, it has the audio from the sensor that was on the bat during this midair feast.
