Fantastic to watch.

RoboCop (1987) is still powerful and astute tech criticism in 2024, I'd heard about this before but didn't know the details: ED-209 kills when it can't "hear" - much like current "AI" systems, the products don't work as advertised, but still end up serving the ultimate goals of corporate-state violence in the service of capital; that violence misfiring on a protected-but-not-bound elite is the anomaly that sticks out.
