I'm pretty against vibe-coded AI slop projects but today I was able to make the todo list app that has been in my head for over a year in just a couple of hours. ToDoBot is an easy to use, terminal based, cross-platform todo list app that optionally syncs to a private GitHub gist (oh and it has a hosted web version too) github.com/andywarburton/ToDoBot/
Another day, another project I was committed to documenting and then forgot to take the photos during the project. FML.
@recantha speaker enclosure for the Satellite One by Future Proof Homes (an open source Alexa alternative)
@kbob unfortunately this is the back half which doesn’t contain anything useful. I hadn’t updated the design for the front half to accept my speaker and wanted to get something going due to the long print times. Luckily I have a second printer that I’m running some test prints on (and I’ll do an enclosure free test this evening when the kids are in bed)
Currently printing a big model… 0.15mm layer height, 0.4mm nozzle because I want it to look really nice. Lots of perimeters because it needs to be acoustically dense. 22 hours… I can’t remember the last time I ran a print for this long! Normally I print with a 0.6mm nozzle so this feels even slower. When it’s finished I have to print the other half too!

Bloody delivery companies! I had a delivery arrive today that comprised of three boxes. I was unavailable so my wife took in the delivery. Driver only handed over two of the boxes but marked all three as delivered. Now I'm out a couple of kilos of expensive filament and have to waste my time battling DPD to get the situation resolved.
@smarthomejunkie I’m very jealous but congrats to the winner!
@owa I applaud the work you’re doing here but have you ever considered that you would get more support if you used plain English to make this campaign accessible to the non-nerdy masses? I’m a designer by trade but also do a lot of engineering/tech stuff and I genuinely lost interest after reading the first couple of paragraphs.
Pilot just rebooted the plane three times. I’m sure it’ll be fine.
