Hydrogen isn't the silver bullet we've been sold. Blended, it's worse for the #environment because it locks in fossil gas. And it's worse for consumers because it's less safe.

So WHY are we still talking about it?!

Some countries (e.g. UK 👀) plan to blend hydrogen into #gas networks (to the joy of gas companies...).

We need to tell them no ❌

I know #cycling is a sport that needs sponsors, but it's infuriating to see team jerseys covered in the logos of #FossilFuel companies. For an activity so important in helping to SOLVE the #climate crisis there must be another way?

On the team website they even write that sport is an "ambassador of moral values considered essential to make the world a better place. Environmental sustainability and fun always." FFS

One of the most transformational shifts in thinking I ever experienced arose from #reading Simone de Beauvoir's 'The Second Sex' (published in 1949).

That this incredible #book remains so relevant is both a testament to the wisdom of its author, and shocking because so much progress is still needed when it comes to #WomensRights.

#SimoneDeBeauvoir would have turned 115 today.
