Mastodon ist jetzt offiziell „Digital Public Good“ – also digitales öffentliches Gut – und steht damit auf einer UN-Liste neben Projekten wie Wikipedia oder LibreOffice. Das Fediverse bekommt damit Rückenwind als gemeinwohlorientierte Alternative zu Big Tech. Anerkannt wurde Mastodon von der Digital Public Goods Alliance (DPGA), einer Initiative der UN. Die Kriterien: Open Source, Datenschutz, kein Konzerninteresse. Für alle, die digital unabhängig und demokratisch kommunizieren wollen, ist das ein starkes Signal.

@EUCommission although stunning progress has been made by many countries in the EU, slapping China’s electric cars with a stiff tariff is not helping reducing climate change.
Very off-topic, but also not : the EU is fighting three political enemies now: China, Russia, and United States. That simply one enemy too many.
The simple and only answer that applies to everyone and everything is To Do Less—Cut whatever you do by at least half. This doesn't apply to inner work or consciously connecting and relating heart-to-heart.
