Today's #FreeSoftwareAdvent is Elementary OS.

If I were looking for a first-time Linux operating system for a friend or family member, I'd happily give Elementary OS a try, as I have heard nothing but good things about it.

Plus, supporting small projects doing impressive things FTW.

Massive congratulations to the elementary OS team for the release of OS 8.1! This is truly a magnificent release and I appreciate not only the refinements and bug fixing, but the new features as well. And adding in ARM64 support to boot!

I truly love seeing how elementary is moving forward, and it makes me proud to be a sponsor of the project (which you should be doing too!
