From the beginning, #Fram2Ham seemed like an insidious way to normalize extravagant and science-lite billionaire space tourism by coming up with a fun way to engage students and generate buzz, e.g., just wait for those of us raised on public space programs to die and be replaced by Elon's Kids® who have never known anything else.

This news about the NASA budget seems to underscore that strategy.
