Not too bad this weekend. I ended up with 39 POTA contacts on a mix of bands. It was rather fun, and got a few new ones that finally gave me 1000 parks hunted!

This was a weird POTA activation. Only 8 QSOS in about an hour and a half. I could barely work any US stations, but worked two UK stations. One answering my CQ, one who I called. (My tuner ran out of battery so I couldn't wander off 20m to see how other bands were.)

@M0TTQ saved my activation with a three-fer, but I was clearly way down in the noise. Thanks for sticking with me to finally copy my call! I hope it helped that I dialed it back to 13WPM. 🤞

This weekend I participated in the VHF/UHF/SHF contest on 2 m, 70 cm and 3 cm from our usual hill in Berlin. All in all I made 72 contacts.

Rig:
• 2m: FT-818 + small PA, 40 W, 4 el yagi
• 70 cm: FT-818, only 2.5 W (forgot to switch the power setting 🙃 ), HB9CV antenna
• 3 cm: FT-290R + DB6NT transverter, 4 W, 30 cm parabolic dish
