Great letter in the Guardian this morning pointing out, that its not disabled people not wanting to work that is the major problem, its employers being unwilling to employ them that is a more serious impediment for those with health issues who wish to get back into work....

But of course, as always a political class that would rather work with economic models of individuals than look at what's really happening in the world, often misses this simple point!

Meanwhile in Wales, evidence is mounting (confirming) that 20mph speed limits reduce deaths on the roads.

As Lee Waters (ex-Welsh Transport Minister) point out: 'There is still this idea that 70 or so road deaths a year in Wales is acceptable. But we would never accept 70 deaths a year on the ferry to Ireland, or on buses'.. Indeed!

And it not an unpopular policy (except among cultural warriors trying to claim its an imposition on 'drivers' rights'.

Looks like the trees are being taken down on Neville Street, #Cardiff.

Two of our biggest urban challenges are excess heat, and management of water.

I wonder what the strategy is with mature tree removal in #Caerdydd 🤔
